Captain Colin ALLEN Royal Navy

Colin was a Pusser of my term (so, since I was (X), our paths barely crossed after our initial training).  But on leaving the Service at the end of 1986 he fell into the most splendid job of being the first Captain of HMS Warrior (1860), which he held until 1992.
