Captain Michael Jones MVO Royal Navy

A short obituary is included in The Times 'Readers' Lives' section on 9 May 2020, which focuses on his sailing skills which he used to teach both the Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal to sail, accompanying the Royal Family on their summer cruises in the Royal Yacht. In the 1960s he was the Queen's Sailing Master. He was also heavily involved with Adventure during the Round the World Races in the 1970s.
