Captain Michael Kendrick Royal Navy

Graduate entrant to BRNC Sep 1963, retired Jan 95: A Dagger Marine Engineer, Mike’s seagoing career was spent in EAGLE, ALBION, AMBUSCADE and INVINCIBLE. His shore appointments were split between RNEC Manadon, Foxhill for design authority and in service support roles and finally 2SL’s department with responsibility for manning and training of the E branch. A happy retirement was spent indulging his passion for old cars as he rebuilt and refurbished his Bentley Mk VI (which had last been seen disappearing into a garage in Plymstock in 1978). Passed 28 Oct after a short illness.
