Captain Sir Edward F. ARCHDALE Bart., DSC Royal Navy
He earned an M-i-D in the old destroyer ‘Sabre’ at Dunkirk, and a DSC as a young Lieutenant in ‘Unbroken’ in the Med. in `42-`43. His father had been one of the early submariners, joining ‘Hazard’ in June 1902 .
