Death reported in the Canberra Times yesterday. A long-retired special branch barrister on the legal panel. Involved in many high profile naval cases, including HMAS Melbourne – USS Evans, 1969. Had a respectable practice at the bar and later as a judge in several courts. Father of former NRL head David Gallop.
