Cdre Maxson (Max) John McDowell RNZN
Max joined the RNZN in Nov 1941 as one of the first RNZN Special Entry Cadets. Commanded HMNZS OTAGO and WAIKATO. He was Head of NZ Defence Liaison Staff London 1972 -75
