Commander Arthur (‘Nat’) Gould RAN

Initially enlisted as an RAAF Sergeant Pilot in 1940, he flew Hurricane aircraft from HMS ARGUS, afterwards in Russia, and later back in Queensland. In June 1945 he was posted to the RN to fly Seafires and, after a short Commission in the RN, transferred to the brand new RAN Fleet Air Arm. He retired from the RAN as a Commander in 1965.
