Commander G J (‘Turtle’) Vagg

Graeme (Turtle) Vagg died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep yesterday morning, Saturday, 12 March, at home at Wamboin, near Canberra. Graeme had not been well for the past 6 or 7 months, but had been well on the road to recovery over the past month.

Graeme is survived by his wife, Angela and three adult children.

Commander Vagg had been well known during his time in the RAN, especially to the Engineers, and later as a Defence public servant here in Canberra. He was not a member of the Naval Officers Club.

Funeral arrangements are not yet available, but will appear in the Canberra Times.
