Deck Boy Mr John Walter Utz AC

Born 9 July, 1928. Noted he was an RAN midshipman in WWII. No confirming evidence held. Listed as a merchant navy veteran of WWII. Stated he was badly wounded at Colombo. Records say he shipped to Bombay. Served in a captured Italian vessel Remo renamed as a DEMS ship, Reynella. Family have been asked to clarify details but no response to date.
