LCDR Keith (‘Gus’) Murray DSC, RAN, Rtd.

Born 19 February, 1936. Entered the RANC in 1950. Lieutenant 1958. CO of HMAS Teal during Confrontation. Awarded DSC for actions off Singapore in 1964. One of only five such awards being RN (3) and RNZN (1). Promoted to LCDR in 1966 and then resigned. A QANTAS pilot. Died 16 April, 2013 aged 77. Believed to be the only RAN officer to be decorated on active service in the period after the Korean War until the start of the Vietnam War.
