Lieutenant Anthony Arthur (‘Hurl ‘) Hill MiD, RAN

Served in Vietnam with RAAF 9 Squadron in 1968-69. Mentioned in despatches. Took his last cat-shot with a green flag and May Day at 1310 our EST today. Funeral planned for this Friday which may be at GI. Tony did a short service stint and then returned to the fold in the last decade. Possibly the most senior lieutenant in the RAN on active reserve duty. They hinted at a half stripe but do not know if he attained it. A senior pilot for sure. Unsure if he had a flying role at his older age but he had the smarts to keep our birds aloft. Vale him.
