Lieutenant Chris Todhunter MiD Royal Navy

Chris sub specialised as an H in 1979. He was appointed to HMS Endurance in Sept 1981 and was in an RN survey team working in Stanley when the Falklands were invaded. He was captured as a POW. He was Mentioned in Despatches for his initiative in preserving survey records and repatriating them to the UK upon his release as a POW from Argentina in 1982. Chris was NO of HMS Bulldog from which he left the RN in late 1984 and he took up a second career as a Solicitor working for an international offshore construction company. He started writing in 2001 when he was on a flight to the USA which was turned back upon the closure of US airspace in response to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. He wrote 2 contemporary novels before he started a series of 4 following the life of the main character through WW1 as a Royal Naval Brigade Officer at Antwerp, Gallipoli and the Western Front, then up to the start of WW2.In his later years he suffered from a life limiting condition
