Lieutenant-Commander Charles ADDIS MBE Royal Navy

Charles was the CO of HMS Victory back in the `80s.  He was a very old-fashioned officer, with Naval antecedents and an Admiral (Sir James ECCLES) as a Godfather.  While Captain of Victory, he used to run a ‘MiniClubman’ estate car which he had painted in the Nelson yellow and black chequer..
