Lieutenant Len REYNOLDS OBE, DSC

Len was one of the young men who fought in Coastal Forcs in WW2. He earned his DSC in command of a Fairmile ‘D’ class MTB in the Mediterranean in 1943  After the war he wrote a number of books, including ‘Gunboat 658’, and a comprehensive three-volume history of Coastal Forces activities in Home and Mediterranean waters.

He went into teaching after the war, and ended his career as the Head of a major comprehensive school in Maidenhead (or thereabouts).  More importantly, for a number of years, he was the Headmaster on the AIB, and many members may unknowingly have encountered him.
