Lieutenant Peter T Tyrrell Royal Navy

Peter will be remembered by colleagues as a formidable centre three quarter for the Royal Navy and as an Irish trialist. His rugger career was cut short too early but he went on to excel at golf and ocean racing.

Before leaving for his business career, he served in submarines in the Far East and Australian stations.
