Mrs Shirley Fenton Huie
Former WWII member (wireless-telegraphist) of the WRANS. Wrote “Ships Belles”: the story of the WRANS in war and peace, 1941-1985″ published 2000. Much married and fluent in several languages, a prolific author of 12 books. Died 23 June, 2016.
