He commanded ‘Asheldham’, ‘Lewiston’, ‘Jaguar’, ‘Aurora’; was Captain Naval Drafting, Director of Officers Appointments (X), Captain BRNC, Naval Secretary, and finally, FORY, (1981-85). In retirement was Controller OF HM’s Household, 1986-1992.
