Intermediate Command and Staff Course. (M) = Maritime and is the old LGC; (A) is Air, and equates broadly to LGC (minus the staff writing part); (L) = Land, and has replaced the previous Army Junior Division that some of our more senior memebrs may remember being referred to as ‘junior scribbler’. It now lasts 7 months, takes every major in the Army (and RM) on promotion, and according to rumour has about the same syllabus as the ‘old’ Army Staff College, Camberly.
