By the Editor – We all know the metaphor of not being able to see the wood for the trees; sometimes a view of a relationship is, perhaps, obscured by a broader set of challenges facing us. The author, as a US citizen and NR member, proffers his perspective from the USA on a relationship that we might not have recognised ourselves.
