Adaptability and Reactivity in a Modern NHS facing COVID-19 – the Benefits of Military Logistics and Leadership Support

By the Editor – As the second wave of Covid-19 gathers pace, the author provides an insight into his experience as a hospital doctor and Reservist who volunteered in ITU during the Covid-19 crisis. Staff with a military background have been instrumental in helping develop pandemic crisis management and leadership thereby demonstrating the value to employers of releasing staff for Reservist training.
