Sir, I am in rare agreement with Graham Ramsay (Letters, NR110/1 Winter 2022) in believing that all opinions should be heard. A few years ago the correspondence pages of NR were becoming moribund but have since made a welcome comeback. Debate in the latter half of 2021 was particularly spirited: “malign pseudoscience”; “peddling [his] views”; “…should switch on his brain”; “time to discontinue [his] rantings”. What passion!
