I was recently seeking a reference in some past issues of NR when I stumbled across the title Website Extract – Sail Training from the January 2007 edition. It summarised correspondence in ‘The Wardroom Bar’ on the merits or otherwise of sail training. I had other priorities in 2007 and have to confess that this exchange had completely passed me by, which is a shame because it is a subject extremely close to my heart.
