By the Editor – Over the last two editions climate change has become a developing strand of debate, with both sides of the argument putting their case. The article below is one such perspective, from one serving in the Naval Staff, firmly in the concerned camp based on widely accepted evidence. A similar position is reflected in the letters to this edition. The NR is about discourse that ultimately reaches a consensus (collective wisdom) based on the arguments and facts posed.
