By the Editor – Juxtaposed with the memories of the previous article, written by a then junior bridge watchkeeper in HMS Antelope, is this appreciation by her last Captain. Together I hope they proffer a fuller first-hand perspective on events from both authors – one who ended up on the flight deck of the ship separated, by an inferno, from another on the bridge as the order to abandon ship was given.
