Sir, – I was interested in Bruce Pascoe’s article of the subject of intelligent disobedience. It certainly takes moral courage and may be more common than one might think. After all, was it not Nelson who set the example by putting a telescope to his blind eye? I was once told by the XO to sack the Chief Communications Yeoman on the grounds the Captain didn’t get on with him.
