By the Editor – On-line, I asked members, in light of the COVID-19 grand strategic shock, to think laterally and proffer thoughts on possible consequences of the pandemic. The author, who does not reflect his own political leanings or personal beliefs below, took up that challenge and here considers the proposition that the philosophy underpinning Brexit might not end with departure from the European Union.
