Sir, – You have probably already read the obituary in Daily Telegraph (11 June) on Professor Ralph Benjamin. I feel that in the past the NR has often failed to give due recognition to the work of naval scientists, many of whom have been equally dedicated and have contributed more to the Service than many of us uniformed lot. Such a man was Ralph Benjamin and I suggest his remarkable record merits mention in the Review. Would you consider it worth reproducing the Telegraph obit?
