Sir, – The argument to abandon the term ‘seablindness’ in favour of ‘ocean literacy’ is a futile exercise. Time spent debating the merits of terms in this fashion is yet another example of organisational myopia which is akin to throwing yet another ‘smoke grenade’ in the way of the truth and wasting yet more precious time.
