UK and Australia: A Common Destroyer Class?

With the Type 45 destroyer due to leave service by the end of the 2030s, serious thought is being given as to what its replacement, the Type 83, will look like. The United Kingdom, though, is not the only country faced with this problem and there is the possibility of collaboration. While there are many countries that the UK could collaborate with on this, I argue in this article that Australia would be an excellent partner for this project.
