Chagossians betrayed. Are we all mad? Seemingly so and seemingly as mad as the POTUS seems to be. We wonder what ‘thinkers’ in the Pentagon must make of HMG’s decision to surrender British sovereignty of the small Chagos Archipelago in the southern Indian Ocean, which accommodates a substantial and vital US base, to a small island state a thousand miles away which has a penchant for dealing with a potentially hostile superpower?
