Letter to the Editor: Endgame

Sir, – Professor Geoffrey Till and I have known each other for at least 37 years, but in his brilliant and terrifying article ‘Endgame’, I cannot let him get away with “the inhabitants of Florida, Trump’s home state, won’t take too kindly to being told that the two devastating climate-induced typhoons they suffered in 2024 were a hoax.” Actually, they are called hurricanes in the Atlantic, typhoons in the Pacific. 2024 was widely predicted by alarmists to be an exceptionally violent year in the Atlantic for cyclones (generic title). It suffered 18 named storms of which 11 were hurricanes…
