CHIEF OF THE DEFENCE STAFF Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, CDS, steps down next month and is to be succeeded by Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton. Radakin was appointed CDS in November 2021 and will have completed nearly four years in service. Prior to that he was Chief of the Naval Staff from September 2019 to November 2021.
