FIAC

Fast Inshore Attack Craft. The term encompasses pretty much any surface asset that works from a shore base. It includes asymmetric and suicide threat and could range from a Zodiac packed with TNT to a high speed vessel with sophisticated weapons and target aquisition equipment. May also be seen as G3FIAC (Generation 3 FIAC) etc.
