Sir, – The warmest seven years on record have all been since 2015, and we have just had the hottest UK day ever (40.3C at Coningsby), so I will not waste time responding to the latest of Guy Liardet’s articles on climate change (NR110/3 p369) with a ‘forensic’ response as suggested by the Editor. Climate change is not “promoted as an existential threat”.
