Sir, – In the last edition (NR 108/2) Guy Liardet wrote an article questioning the concept of climate change following my article in the previous edition. Some years ago I read Jonathan Haidt’s The Righteous Mind. Haidt argues that we often think that our reason leads our thinking but actually it doesn’t. He says that we often have an intuition, or are persuaded by people we know, that something is true.
