Celebrating International Women’s Day
The Naval Review – which would struggle to exist if it wasn’t for the great efforts of the women who work for and with us – joins the rest of the world in celebrating International Women’s Day! We are keen to suggest that true inclusivity comes from recognising all women, whose efforts every day need to be celebrated and supported to enjoy a truly rewarding and fulfilling career within our Defence Sector without fear of prejudice, patronisation or harassment. Likewise, let’s also hear honoured those women who choose to support a partner in our Royal Navy and wider UK Armed Forces, full recognition for their crucial role as the lynchpin and continuity of service family life. #EmbraceEquity
We are the women in @hmsprotector and we made this film for #IWD2023 with the talented videographer @CameronEden760 We are proud of what we do and wanted to tell our story in the form of a letter from one of our team to her Gran, who was in the WRNS. @navy_women @OfWrens pic.twitter.com/2jyY6Y4HdS
