USN Submarine League Symposium, November 2022 – Key Issues

Introduction The most recent USN Submarine League Symposium and Industry Update was held in November 2022. It was chaired by Admiral Frank Caldwell, Director Naval Reactors. During the decade 1995 to 2005, the USN commissioned only three new submarines. As a consequence, its SSN force level is set to markedly decrease during the next decade, to less than 45 hulls.
